At La Gueule de Saturne, despite the incident with the centipede-like creatures, the tables are full. Rody serves customers with a smile on his face. Vince was supposed to be in the kitchen, but instead he keeps his eyes on the redhead.
"Vince, do you need me or...?"
"No," he said sarcastically, "I'm just surprised you're not moping over your beautiful Manon."
"This isn't funny! Shouldn't you be in the kitchen?"
"Good point."
Vince turns his back on him and he hears the waiter whisper his ex-girlfriend's name. He grits his teeth as he returns to the kitchen.
Vincent has everything he wants. His career, his bistro. Well, almost everything. As much as he'd like to hide it, his Rody thinks only of his Manon. Besides.
A shout is heard from outside. He orders the cooks to continue working and exits La Gueule de Saturne through the back door. A tentacled monster threatens a blonde woman! Vincent is sure he's seen her somewhere. With Manon? From under his chef's uniform, he pulls out a brooch. A magic brooch. He puts it on and his body transforms, becomes feminine. Vince never asked to be a Sailor Guardian. Yet he has no choice.
In this new civilian form, his name is Viviane. He, or rather she, utters the magic words for transformation.
“Vincence Soul Power, Make Up!”
Her new body is naked and surrounded by light. As she makes synchronized movements, she finds herself dressed in a black-and-white sailor uniform. The uniform has a large ribbon across the chest and a small ribbon down the back of her miniskirt. She also has long boots, a tiara on her forehead, long gloves, earrings and a choker. Her transformation is now complete.
"I am the guardian of cooking and thoroughness, Sailor Vincence! Now, tentacle monster, tell me, would you like to be fried or boiled?"
The monster, attracted by the arrival of the Sailor Guardian, no longer cares about the blonde woman. The woman takes the opportunity to flee. Sailor Vincence remains unmoved, but that's one less thing to worry about. Now, which attack to use first?
Less than ten minutes later, the monster is dead and its tentacles are cut into nice slices. Sailor Vincence conjured up a plate and fork with her powers, took a slice and ate a mouthful. It must have tasted of something. Something gooey, perhaps.
"Nothing." She murmurs. "Even in this form, nothing tastes. I've tried a lot of monsters, though."
She sighs and throws the slice to the ground. The slice disappears with the remains of the monster. Sailor Vincence becomes Viviane again, then Viviane becomes Vincent. He hides his magic brooch under his chef's uniform and goes back to work.
